I did a search and couldn't find what I was referring. Back in 2014 Winchester did a recall on a couple batches of 22lr. At the time I called and explained I had some, but no idea of lot number, as I'd bagged it into 50 call cans. They insisted they'd "pay me more than it was worth", but wouldn't state what that amount was. Since it was during the hard crunch, I opted to hang onto it.

Rotating through stock, I finally shot some of mine, blowing an extractor out of my 10/22. I'll be calling tomorrow and see if they will still buy it back, can't imagine them not, but wondering.....Did any of you send any back? And if so, what kind of trade did they offer?

Did you ever find anything out about this ? Lot numbers, manufacture date ?

Would like to check what little I have so that I don't damage any of the 22 lr. Firearms that I have.
