Think what you want of the lone star state, but you have to admire the mentality of most of the people.

Had a little dinner with my wife tonight and they give a discount to military, law enforcement, and people with carry permits. Even had a sign right above the register. I doubt you'll ever see that at Starbucks or Chipotle.

It's in San Antonio. Depending on the route, I think it just might be in between Corpus and Austin.

The place is called Augie's BBQ Steakhouse.

909 Broadway in San Antonio.

Super friendly staff, decent enough food (and plenty of it), and priced right, even without the discount.
