For those that don't know, Rob (Bowers Tactical dark haired ninja) is back in the hospital fighting the same issues that almost got him for good last time. He's in a lot of pain and going through another round of surgeries and long hospital stays.

Rob is in surgery as I type this. It's scheduled for all day. I'll let you know. No news is good at this point.

They're stitching him up right now. 10 hours of surgery. So far so good.

He's in recovery. Now he only has to heal for the next 3 months... That's where it got interesting last time. We will see.

Will he want visitors? How long will he be in the hospital for recovery? Can we bring anything to keep him entertained?

When I saw him this weekend he was in good spirits but in a LOT of pain. He also looked like hammered dog shit, but that's just his normal face.

He's still breathing. He's hit and miss at work still, but more around lately. I lost count, but I think he's at 10 surgeries in the last two years. This is not counting the times he's done his own wound cleaning.

Since I was nearby I dropped by Bowers yesterday for nothing more than to see Mike & Sean. I was happily surprised to see Rob in the shop and looking well. Of course, how he looked and how he felt are separate issues but it was good to see him up and about.

As always, lots of nice toys in the store too.
