Got bored tonight with a milling machine and made a side folding pistol brace for it. Good times.

It's like the poor man's scar 16.

Speaking of poor mans SCAR. What's your opinion of it considering the price point, versus an AR SBR or Pistol (with brace) ?

I have all 3 lol. Bren, mk18 sbr, and an ar pistol.

Mounting stuff to the ar is much easier.

The bren is heavier but not tragically. Seems like 1lb all kitted out.

Infinitely better than stock ar trigger, worse than ar aftermarket. The bren is a semi two stage it seems. 4 lbs and tons of creep.

Operating system identical to scar which is a g36 clone itself. 2 position gas.

Ergos are better on the ar. Safety and charging handle similar, but the ar bolt catch is better.

I can side fold the bren with a little work. Law adapter for the ar is needed.

Accuracy is the same in my sample set.

Bren was 1250 at grabagun. It was actually cheaper than my ar pistol build.

The bren build quality is absolutely stellar. Especially the gas system and bolt.

Bren factory sights are nice.
