“We expect that this package … and everything we’re doing on climate, does show an effective model forward for others,” McCarthy said.

Yet CA has the most Open Borders, Sanctuary city policy of them all.

Never mind all the cars on CA's roadways, it's the fucking cows [facepalm]

Oh don't worry, they have a grand plan for that as well. They are planning large-scale "sustainable urban villages" that purposely provide little parking for the businesses and residents, to "encourage more walking and public transit use."

“We are poisoning our cities with too much parking,” said UCLA’s Shoup. “Removing minimum parking requirements may be the cheapest and simplest way to achieve a more just society.”

Overheard in a Wisconsin cheese plant retail store, "California might have happy cows, but they don't know jack shit about making great cheese."

It might be debatable, but I heard it nonetheless and had to chuckle.

A meat-free society will never happen, but bovine methane has a greater effect on carbon emissions than cars.

So I'm supposed to be a vegan and walk to work and other places I like to go.

Gotcha.

I'll start when the last liberal 'tard starves to death on the cold prairie, in the sod hut, it's pathetic life devoid of anything derived from or delivered by petroleum products.

When will the first hybrid cow come out?

Last week, my mom made prime rib out of it for Thanksgiving. It was a eunuch.

This is my sad face. [ROFL1]

Not a modern problem.The25-60 million bison they estimate was here before they got wiped out actually produced more methane on average than the cows in feedlots do. Or according to some study.

An educated guess is still a guess... but it sounds better.

Always add a few decimal places to the end of any answer you get in a math problem. It makes your answer seem much more precise. [Sarcasm2]

So THAT'S why they wiped them out.....global warming, or change, or whatever it's called now.

And i remember when the big threat was an impending Ice Age.

We're all going to die, sooner or later. Might as well enjoy the time left, without worrying about what's going to happen 50-100 yrs from now. Besides until China, India, most of S. America and other countries halt their crap, WTF cares

They could just all move to Austin, Texas. Ever try to find parking anywhere in that city?

Me too.

China is making a stink about Trump getting out of any long term Climate Change agreements...but they're building hundreds of coal fired power plants over the next few years. China just wants to limit our productivity so that they can maintain a competitive advantage. They couldn't give a rat's ass about "Climate Change".

Haven't read the entire thread yet, but did anyone else notice, and see the ironic dateline (location) this story claims? It's Galt, CA; like John Galt the main character focus of the Ayn Rand novel Atlas Shrugged.

When I read statements like

Dairy farmers say the new regulations will drive up costs when they’re already struggling with five years of drought, low milk prices and rising labor costs. They’re also concerned about a newly signed law that will boost overtime pay for farmworkers.
And

"It just makes it more challenging. We’re continuing to lose dairies. Dairies are moving out of state to places where these costs don’t exist,” said Paul Sousa, director of environmental services for Western United Dairymen.

I find the entire situation curiously similar to the storyline of Atlas Shrugged.

ETA: I'm also left wondering what they plan to eat once they get the cattle removed. Perhaps their "renewable energy" like solar cells...mmm, mmm, yum. All of that green stuff the vegans eat needs tractors, etc. to grow/harvest it too. That doesn't sound like it'll fix their problemsl

Of Course not. BUT................. it will make them FEEL GOOD.. Because that's what it's all about, feeling good..

Actually i'm wrong................

What it's really about is them making you feel bad about their guilt. YOU NEED TO CHANGE Not Them. THEY'RE THE VICTIM.

Go ahead. Make fun of the Californians. But eventually more and more of them are going to flee and they're going to places like Colorado. And they aren't coming alone. They're going to bring their ridiculous leftist attitudes and ideals with them.

They've already made a mess of Colorado ... while the rest of America seems to be headed to the right, here we are sending our electoral votes to Hillary Clinton and sending Michael Bennett back to DC.

They're also bringing...

traffic
big city violence / moral rot
high cost of living
fragile service-sector economy/jobs
illicit labor / illegal immigrants (hypocrisy of Lib economic policies)

We should be pointing this out to everyone we know on a regular basis.
