Last time I was there most of the targets were down because they were grading the area. Has anyone been down lately to confirm the current layout or condition of the steel placement?

When was the last time you were there? Might help to establish window for best answers.

I was afraid of that. I need steel at 1000 or more for data on my new loads.

But that doesn't make any sense. There's nothing but open, unoccupied land behind that ridge.

Horse trails, hiking trails on the next valley floor. Those 1000yd targets were not on the range property, were on Forrest Service/BLM..... I've known the guy who started that range, caretaker of the range for many years. He's told me the problem has gotten worse in the last couple years. Idiots ruined a good thing.

But taking away targets does nothing to "solve" the issue. They have no caliber restrictions and nothing in place to keep people from shooting at rocks or whatever else they see at 1k+

My question would be, what idiots put a range where a .308 can knock a horse in the dome?
