The top oven of our double ovens doesn't close all the way. You can push it closed but it come back out about .5". It still works but it losing heat and seems to be getting worse.

I haven't found a good repair video but it looks like the hinges and receivers probably need to be replaced.

We're just south of Castle Rock, if you do this kind of work let me know.

Thanks

Can you take a picture of the hinges ? I used to work on the Arby's ovens and had similar problems I'd fix but I'm not sure if it's the same hinge.

I've had good luck with Goodman's Appliance Repair in Parker. I'll always call him first.

Awesome thanks, I'll call them when they open. I ran into issues with a Samsung refrigerator and couldn't even find a company that would look at it. :) Hopefully Kitchen Aid is easier.

He's an independant, works alone AFAIK. Can't recall his name atm, but it isn't Goodman. He bought the business. Good guy.

Quite a bit different from the commercial ones I worked on but I'm guessing it's a tension spring problem. Either an adjustment or spring replacement. That door panel should be able to be taken off to expose the hinge assembly.

Goodman's was out yesterday and should be back today with the parts. Great company to work with so far and they provide a year warranty on any repairs.

Thanks to rondog for the recommendation!
