posting reply - "leave page?" warning

When using post quick reply feature, I'm getting the error of "Leave this page?", as if I've typed in and then am navigating away from the page before posting.

This has occurred on two different systems, IE and Firefox respectively.

Any ideas on cause?

Had the same thing. I just selected leave and my post went up. It happens occasionally and usually is worked out.

Looks like the browsers deprecated some functions that this version of vBulletin uses. I'll get going on that upgrade. We have some customizations here that will have to be tested with the upgrade first.

For an interim solution, I'm going to disable that message entirely. That means if you click back after entering a message, you will go back and lose your work.
