Came across this video and found it pretty interesting. Why is this not more popular today? Seems like an easy remedy for people whom are cross-eye dominant.

Well, you might try shooting one and you may figure out why its not a more popular "solution". Had one at a hunter education instructor shotgun seminar some years ago. Weird recoil torque.

The off-set recoil and production cost where what I was thinking would be the largest factors.

I'm sure you can get used to shooting that, but good grief does that look awful.

My wife is cross dominant, and she manages to do just fine with regular guns.

You'd have to put it upside down inside a violin case just to have it fit inside something.
