I looked through the Dealer Review forum and didn't find mention of G&G Guns. Apologies if I missed it.

I've become somewhat of a regular customer there. Warren, the owner, was friendly and helpful to me from the moment I walked in as was the rest of his staff.

His shop is fairly small so he certainly doesn't have the biggest selection of guns...but if I asked about something he didn't have he was instantly on the computer looking it up and telling me how soon he could have it.

Prices are reasonable and he's not afraid of offers. Not to mention he gets some seriously interesting stuff in from time to time.

I've made several purchases there and always felt like I'd received a fair deal...sometimes more than fair!

I highly recommend his shop for someone who wants a friendly, professional gun store in which to do their business.

He's located at Colfax and Carr, just west of Wendy's on the North side of the street.

Very stand up guy. Reasonable prices on items, bought my LCR there when it finally arrived! I was there not long ago, should still be open the last I knew... will check tomorrow maybe on the way home...

I was in Warren's shop this summer (after walking out of The Gun Room for the last time). He and his daughter were very nice. I picked up a Saiga 12 and some other ammo. I even met some of my customers there. I'll go back.:D

I was in there on Wednesday and he is doing fine. Very small inventory, but a few nice items and good service. Friendly too. I'll go back and support him as I'd like to see him around for some time to come, but I'm not sure he can make much money off that small of an inventory.

Simple math tells me he needs to turn the inventory too many times to make a profit and I wonder if that's really possible.

In any event, I'd recommend him to board users.

I'll have to go back in there again. I didn't get the best vibe the one time I went there, but maybe it was just me as this guy seems to be getting all positive reviews so far.

A lot of his customers appear to be return customers and are ordering out of catalogs more than buying off the shelf. This might explain a lower inventory in store. Prices of in stock weapons always seems reasonable to me...

If I'm not buying a gun off of this forum, I buy it from Warren. I have bought a number of guns from him. His used gun inventory changes pretty frequently. I stop in to BS about once every two weeks and he always has some new stuff. I just stopped by to bullshit with him today.

I met Warren a couple of years ago just by randomly stopping in. He was a nice guy and wasn't an ass like a lot of other shop owners I've met. I've been a customer ever since. I am part of Evergreen Ducks Unlimited and he is now our sponsoring FFL.

Offer him cash and you likely can get a little better deal. Often true with smaller gun shops who don't want to pay the extra 3%+ for credit card fees.

Highly recommended.

Interesting how different folks have such different experiences at a store.

I went in there once a few months ago. There were two guys behind the counter, and one guy on the customer side of the counter. The three of them were just sitting there BSing and shooting the breeze. I looked around for about 10 minutes, and looked through the bargain bins. They had a gun in one of the cabinets I wanted to look at. I stood at the counter in front of the gun for a few minutes, and never once the whole time I was in there did anyone acknowledge me or even make an effort to even say hi, or ask if they could help me. I left, and will likely never go back in there again. I drive right past it two days a week. To bad.

Stopped in to G&G on Saturday as I do now and then, some punk kid and a girl outside talking, he was armed, had about 3 inches of barrel sticking below coat he had on. Went inside to look for a new item - the LCR in 357 mag. Punk kid and girl came in to help me, I guess they were on break or something.

Asked them about the LCR 357, girl said she was new and in training, mr. punk kid immediately said I should get the LCR with laser! Well, I already have an LCR, was interested in the new 357 model. You need the one with the laser, um, No I don't, I can shoot and don't want a laser. See it's great, as he whips out his side arm (some semi-auto with long ported barrel, and starts pointing the laser it has at his hand showing me how great it is... yeah ok, I get it... Still want to know about this new model being produced and if you'll get one in or have a price available...

They finally get with Darcy - the other girl that works there, and she's digging in the computer for pricing (which she's always been helpful)

Warren finally gets away from whatever he's doing and works directly with me on what I'm looking for and gives me the information I need... (don't have one, might be a while before they do and it probably won't be a good seller due to 357 mag in that light framed gun - which I agree) Please check back with us and we'll hopefully have some more information...

ugh.

Note: appears the girl is Warrens daughter, hmm.. (not bad if I might say so)

Friend also had called a few days back to G&G for pricing and availability on .380 ammo, they had some and quoted a price per box of 50. Friend drives over there, and they have one box left, the price apparently changes right in front of him - like from $25 to $35 or something like that... Last box, now it's $35 - Huh? ok, he's already said he's not going back there...

Not sure how is their name so low on the list. Warren is a great business man. The store got my vote.

Can't remember the name of the "new" English guy working there. I'd prefer him over Piers Morgan any day of the week.
