Ah, rumors

In this case the person starting this rumor is indeed John Ross.

The guy who wrote Unintended Consequences?

Yep...and he would be an excellent change in the direction of that organization.

For a second I was hoping it was Bob Ross.

What next, James Wesley Rawles in charge of DHS?

John Ross isn't exactly an author either. Isn't that his only book? Not a very good author anyway.

Irving, what is your basis for a good author? John Ross let a small fire with his writing.

I don't want to get into a pissing match about what authors we like, or don't, but his writing wasn't that strong. Same with Atlas Shrugged, which was a terribly written book. Both books had solid concepts though.

I don't know that he lit any fires with it though, considering most people probably haven't even heard of it, let alone read it.

I had this same exact thought. Zombie Bob Ross would be great for this role, but given his love of happy trees and bright industrial colorants, he'd also be a great fit for the EPA.

Wide Receiver for the Washington Huskies. Odd choice, I think.

Author of "Unintended Consequence", a great book that is a must read.

Look, anyone that would plot the death of Chuck Schumer and make it look like he died of a drug overdose during a gay orgy has my vote :)

I also had no idea who John Ross was or why I'd care but I concur with this ...

Unintended Consequences is a fun read ... he's kind of a more adolescent version of Matthew Bracken. UC is also where a lot of us get the phrase "Time to feed the hogs". And the scene with the ATF agents in Wyoming is pretty good.

I read Bracken`s work when it was "new" and my god the man seems to have seen the future. I hope he is wrong in his darker predictions...

Expect the part of someone flying a drone into George Soros, that was a great part.
