Is that good or bad? I dont know much about the AR10 platform other than they're picky.

Looks like Magpul mags to me which means SR-25/DPMS.

The new pmag gen 3 is ar10 compatible.

Armalite AR10 and AR10A take different mags , modified M14 mags and SR25 / P Mags respectively.

I'm going to assume that savage is smart enough to produce a rifle that takes more common magazines even if they chose the armalite pattern. Take a close look at the upper. It's not a dpms pattern, unless dpms started making 45* cut uppers to match armalite?
