Some users reported issues with Tapatalk on this forum. I looked and found an updated version of their software that I have installed (also updated our forum software).

Anyone who uses tapatalk care to let me know if it is improved at all now?

I don't use Tapatalk but posting/viewing via IE is much improved as well.

No more posting delays and double-taps.

Was the forum update directly related to Tapatalk, or was it a new version of vBulletin? The site is wicked faster for page loads and refreshes today.

It is working better. When I've tried to access the forum via Tapatalk, the new posts loaded quickly but forums would take a long time. Much better.

We did the forum update to a new version of vBulletin trying to address a few other issues. Its fixed some, others I had to fix the code myself. Since I was in there looking at stuff, I also updated tapatalk. I also did a performance analysis and tweaked a few things to up the speed in general.

Also figured I'd update the server OS and software to new versions (no problems there, but might as well get the newest security patches while I'm in there). Might be some positive side-effects from that as well.

So, all separate items, but together they should have a nice little impact for the users.

Sorry it took me so long... life got busy and I didn't carve out any time for this site for a while. I'll try to be more expedient in the future.

gman still has a bug in his sig.

Otherwise, look and feel is great.

I haven't seen that pesky "leave" issue for a few days also, but I cleared all site cache data/cookies a week or so back too.

Probably about 2 days, as that's when I fixed it! [Beer]

Glad to hear its resolved for you too. Seems the consensus is my fix is successful for everyone reporting in thus far.
