Split the carcass or hot flask in the gut?
Both are more than cringe worthy.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim.
The split scene.
Hang on, I gotta go puke.

That extraction/removal and re-use of the Troglodytes' voice box was icky.
Is there a Scout or Scout II that isn't a rust bucket?

heard that from a friend of ours the other day.
Here's an interesting one. A Man on the Inside................Ted Danson... read an article about this, where Danson said it was nice to play a person his age.
Ok back to the series, they run 30 min per. 8 total
He plays a widower who answers a Help Wanted ad, put out by a PI agency.
WARNING: while definitely a comedy orientated series. This one deals with him going "undercover" at a senior care facility.
If you're in that "age bracket" be warned there's lots of (as we that age know) a somewhat grim reality sort of edge to it.
However it played well, we laughed and were silent during certain scenes. Overall worth ones time.
Next one Dune pt Two. SUCKED!
watched the remake last year? Started watching this as a time killer since i've been diown with the flu , so missed out on the dinner the wife went to. 30-40 min in, i f/forwarded a few times to see it it got better. 1.15 min still sucked, with 20 min remaining in a 2.46 hr movie (yes i FF it that many times) FINALLY getting to the ACTION! part of it. WTF.
avoid this like ones ex at a party, or court. Went through a 2.46 hr movie under 1.15 minutes. Must have been the meds i'm one that i sat there that long. Oh well better than watching the talking heads melt down on "those" cable stations. [Sarcasm2]

I don't care for Ted Danson's politics. However, I enjoyed him on "The Good Place" so gave "A Man on the Inside" a shot. He knocked it out of the friggen park with that role.

Right. We all know someone either in a care facility or hospice, as well as family in thre age bracket Danson is. He played that part very well / believable.
Troppo on Prime is a fascinating story from Australia, well acted. Half way through the 2nd season, hope there will be more.

"Landman", really enjoying this series.
My nephew is a landman for an independent producer, it drives him nuts when we(family who don't really know shit about what he does) call and text him about the show.

I just watched Juror #2 on Max. It was co-produced and directed by Eastwood, so that was enough for me to watch it. I very much enjoyed it.
The Dirty Black Bag is pretty good.
Squid Games 2. Just as strange as the first series with a few returning characters and twists. I'm up to the 3rd episode, so far so good!

Waiting for season 3...
Just watched the first 3 episodes of American Primeval (Netflix) that I downloaded for a flight today. Very well done series on the Mormon War in late 1850s Utah and Wyoming. Not entirely historical but lots of Jim Bridger, Brigham Young, Nauvoo Legion, Paiute, Shoshone, Ute, and one very annoying woman and her son. Starts with the Mountain Meadows massacre, not for the squeamish. Looking forward to watching the final three episodes.

Now I need to watch it. I lived in the Bridger Valley for several years in the mid 1970's. Lots of history in that area and more than a few grudges remain today!

Finished watching American Primeval. Felt like it was originally planned for 8 episodes but they shortened it to 6 to save money. Plot got a bit predictable but still entertaining and recommended.

I agree, good characters, pretty vivid and not a sugar-coated history of the western expansion in the USA. Tough times for sure. Worth the watch.

Third season of Reacher.
If you're unarmed, you are a victim
Yellowjacket is back, 3 shows so far. (Paramount+/Showtime)
I thought Stanger Things was supposed to drop Season 5 by now but apparently it's still a ways off.
My wife and I just finished Bad Monkey, on Apple TV. Pretty dang hilarious. Looking forward to the third season of Reacher.
I also just finished the documentary Turning Point on Netflix. I found it pretty fascinating. Being an "Elder" millennial, born in the late 80s, I admittedly knew very little about the Cold War and what led to it, and it leading into the war in Ukraine. Also, it just reinforces the obvious of an unarmed society will basically always be killed and/or screwed over by its government.

Watched the first episode of 1923 season 2, pretty dark, interested to see how it develops. Watched the first 3 episodes of Reacher, enjoyed them though the I think the female lead's accent is a little forced-yeah small detail lol.

Liked season 3 of Reacher.
Enjoying Dark Winds.
Liked 1923.
Second Hand Lions was cool. Like Caine and Duvall is a favorite.
We Still Kill The Old Way was amusing.
Only get a couple hours a week for TV, glad we dumped Dish subscription. Saving money and better entertainment. Between Netflix, Amazon Prime and Philo we pay one third of Dish subscription and we had one of the cheaper plans.

Watched season 7 Black Mirror. Good stuff.
The movie, meh.
Finally had a chance to watch SISU. Very entertaining, better story than I expected, great characters and special effects.
Currently watching Severance, which is good Sci-Fi.
And Silo, also good Sci-Fi.
Looking forward to Season 2 of Andor, which is excellent.

Love, Death & Robots Vol.4 on Netflix.
10 episodes! Watched the first 2, not disappointed!!
DEVO on Netflix. Never a huge fan, but I certainly remember the impact they had on music. Very interesting and entertaining documentary about the band's history and the Pimp music industry in the 1980's.
"Death By Lightening" on Netflix, 4-part series.
The story of James Garfield's rise to the Presidency to his assassination. Great cast and proof that political corruption is nothing new in the USA.

I lived in Ft Bridger for a while in the mid 70's. Lots of history in that area, high desert to the North and the Uinta mountain range to the South. Miss it.
'Wrath of Becky' on Netflix. Replace the John Wick character with a 16-yr old girl that holds a grudge. Very entertaining. Let me know what you think!
