I'm in the market for a high end rifle. I have been doing some research and it looks like everything points to a knights sr-15 mod 2 e3.
My question is. Do I buy the 14.5" upper and put the muzzle device I need for my suppressor on, and put it on one of the psa lowers I have? Or do I pay the extra $800 for the complete rifle?

Do you have a SBR rifle, or are you planning on pinning and welding to legal 16 inch length with a muzzle device? Only reason I asked is you specifically mention 14.5 inch upper and not a 16 inch upper.

Yeah plan on pinning and welding. Waiting on my stamp. Nowhere close to getting it though. I may even do 16" so I don't have to go through the hassle.

If you are waiting on a stamp (paperwork is in the system) dont pin and weld a SBR upper just suffer through the wait for your stamp and utilize some other upper on your rifle in the mean time. It gives you the opportunity to save your pennies and think about what you really want (Personal opinion on my part)

I think once my stamp comes in I'll get an 11.5" knights.

Build it as a pistol now, slap the stock on after approval, if the money's there.

I don't plan on this being my last knights, I don't have any plans on sbring this upper. I'd rather have an 11" cqb. I like the 14.5" because every inch counts right. Also, I can't buy a complete that is 14.5" because I wouldn't be able to suppress it. I'd have to get 16.
