Grew up going to the stock show. Now try to make it every couple of years.

Went last year, but everyone is sick this year (and I thought it was over soon). Might not make it this year, but would really like to go; especially on days like today when I'm not working and the kid is out of school.

Stock Show time was always fun. I used to dig out my hat, boots and a pair of Wranglers head out to the cowboy bars. Now that I’m old and two ex-wives’ later, it isn’t quite as much fun. I better stay home, I’m too old and don't want to give away another house.

No time this year with building this network for a customer, but I have great memories of going to stock show as a kid with my family.

Great memories from early 20's at stock show with friends, but the memories of the days after aren't great. Cowboy Koolaid and roaming stock show result in rough days following.

Yup, I'm always there for the draft horses. Been going every year for probably more than 30 years.

If you get there earlier, the live bison auction is pretty cool to watch. Get on the catwalk above the pens and watch them move the bison into the auction arena.

Went this past Saturday. All these years I've gone, this was the first year to the rodeo. Kids had a blast

My sister and two nephews are in town so my wife, daughter, and I treated them to a day at the stock show on Saturday last weekend (1/14). We started early (9:00am) and left mid afternoon as the crowds continued to grow. It was a great time with tons to see and do. All 3 of the kids fell asleep in the car ride home.

Had the pleasure of meeting O2HeN. He and Mrs. O2HeN were great people. Nice to put faces with names.

Had the yearly Red Eye and path down memory lane.

Missed the bison stampede but did get to see them in the yard. Damn! Always impressed with their size. Also the longhorns. Grew up around them but with shoulders at 6', always in aw of their size and horns.

Lots of Highland cattle (Scottish Gaelic) and Tibetan yaks. I need a side of both!

Plus, LOTS of people!! The yang of the "nipple heads" downtown.
