Has anyone ordered from Bangit Ammo before?

Just figured I'd follow up. I gave them a try and despite a problem with my order, I had a super positive experience.

I ordered the last 4 boxes of some S&B 300 AAC sub-sonic ammo ($11.39 a box of 20). They require age verification (first order only), so right after I placed the order, I scanned my DL and emailed. Within minutes of sending, my order was approved and released. A couple of days later, I got an email:



Sir,

Unfortunately, while boxing your order we discovered we oversold this item due to multiple orders hitting at the same time.
This caused a glitch in our system.

Last night we heard back from one of our distributors they will have it back in stock very soon but couldn't give us a time frame.

So, we can:

1. void and return your money
2. Hold your order open for a week to see if they show up
3. Apply your order to a different product


They then suggested two alternatives for me and said they would match the price of my order. One was remanufactured and one was new production. The new production, Choice Ammunition, was $5.00 a box more expensive.

They also gave me a $15.00 coupon off my next order for my troubles! $30 in value on a $60 order. That's pretty good customer appreciation. The replacement was shipped the same day as I provided the answer to them.

There are going to occasionally be problems no matter how much you try. It's how you handle a problem that really sets good companies apart from the rest.

I haven't tried the ammo yet, but with that kind of service, I will definitely try them again - coupon or not.
