I think he's saying that years of open hate for Muslims emboldened some racists to commit a terror act against the Mosque. That doesn't seem to be the case though.

I have not seen any information about the two suspects in custody.

Firearms were undoubtedly purchased from unscrupulous gun show vendors from new york or virginia because we don't have universal background checks that would have stopped the bad guys from buying fully automatic assault rifles with high capacity clips bought online where they also purchased their ammo. Thanks to Trump and the NRA, Canada will certainly see an uptick in terrorist mass shootings because of the nazis in charge of the US congress that will not do something to save the children from guns committing violent acts.

The reporting on this has been very strange. I've been busy so only able to check in every couple of hours but the story keeps changing. In spite of the various conferences/questions that started last night the media kept getting it wrong into the morning (or LE kept changing the story).
