I'm referring to this mount from Midwest Industries (MI): http://www.midwestindustriesinc.com/MI-AK-Side-Railed-Scope-Mount-p/mi-aksm.htm

I have a Vepr (v2) in 54r with a CNC Warrior/bonesteel Left-Hand folder stock. My Arsenal SM-13 side rail mount doesn't work anymore as it won't clear the folder mechanism to slide off/on the side rail.

I know guys that are using the MI AKSM side rail mount with their LH folding stocks, but none of these guys are local to me...

Anyone in the COS area have a MI mount that I can test to see if it will slide onto/off my Vepr's side rail?

Thanks in advance.

BTW: I'll be putting my SM-13 up for sale very soon...

Ah unfortunately I'm up north in Windsor but I have that mount actually, got it in a parts trade but it's a pretty decent mount. If you measure the clearance between the stock and the actual receiver (not the rail) I could compare that to mine and let you know what I come up with. I actually don't use mine at the moment never have even mounted anything on it but it's a great mount. My 54r is a psl so I just use the stock LPS 4x scope. Was going to try this mount on my m76 8mm.

Oh ok I should be able to check mine out tomorrow or I guess today I thought you meant the clearance when it's folded all the way to the left so you don't need to remove the mount while folding the stock but anyway I'll check it out and let you know
