Looks like ICE is finally doing their jobs after years of having their hands tied.

SAN DIEGO, California — Federal immigration authorities arrested at least 160 illegal aliens over multiple days and across multiple states in what the U.S. Department of Homeland Security is calling “routine” immigration enforcement actions.

Department of Homeland Security spokesperson Gillian Christensen confirmed to the Washington Post that “routine” immigration enforcement actions were taken this week in Los Angeles, California; Atlanta, Georgia; and two other cities that were not identified. The enforcement actions took place at home and workplaces.

The spokesperson noted it was an unprecedented step to issue statements on such raids while they were ongoing, but fast-spreading social media commentary triggered the agency to comment in this case.

...AUSTIN (KXAN) — Police from hundreds of departments across the state are about to crackdown on people with outstanding warrants.

They have sent letters to people with warrants for violations as minor as unpaid parking tickets asking them to pay their fines. Offenders have until Feb. 25 to pay their fines.

The goal is to get people to voluntarily contact the courts and resolve their obligations before they are tracked down by police.

Starting on Feb. 26, police will go out and begin rounding up people who owe money.

All of the money collected will go to the general revenue fund.

Lovin all the winning!

I expect major crackdowns on "protesters" to start any day now.

He has already knocked off about 10 of these on his 100 day contract but in my opinion point 4 on the bottom right is the one that will get the left pissed off more than anything we have seen yet. They are going to act all surprised and cry racism like never before but this plan has been out there since late summer I believe.

If you are here illegally, it is time to consider going back on your own. If you do not, you run the risk of being rounded up and being forced out and hopefully not allowed to return since you forced our hand.

One thing I think the administration should do is broadcast this information. Leave willingly and on your own now, because if you are caught and forced out there will be consequences.

Criminal aliens should be deported, wait ten years, and then apply for legal immigration/citizenship.

Mass migrations to sanctuary cities could be a plan too.

I just hope it doesn't drive up the cost of fruits and vegetables.

It's not so much that there's a shortage of work in this country, as a shortage of people willing to travel to it.

I considered that, but isn't LA a sancuary city? The article states that "immigration enforcement actions were taken up this week in Los Angeles, California...". It looks to me as though the federal .gov is letting the nation know that while the cities/counties/states may choose to ignore the law, the federal .gov will now uphold the law throughout the nation.

Make welfare less lucrative by going back to Bill Clinton's welfare reform plans that effectively cleared out much of the rolls.
Willingness to work is inversely proportional to the size of the handout.
