Got this in my email today from Senator Bennet. Once again reminding me why I didn't vote for him and tried to get others to take his place. Standard democrat that never answers questions or concerns in true democratic fashion.

Thank you for writing me regarding the nomination of Senator Jeff Sessions to the position of U.S. Attorney General.

Senator Jeff Sessions was confirmed as U.S. Attorney General on February 8, 2017. I voted against his nomination because I am not convinced Senator Sessions will protect the rights and liberties of all Americans.
On a variety of issues, Senator Sessions has fallen short. He has blocked bipartisan efforts to expand voting rights, protect women from harassment and violence, and reform our criminal justice system. In 2013, when a bipartisan group of senators crafted principled and thoughtful comprehensive immigration reform legislation, Senator Sessions was its most outspoken opponent. During that debate, he used fear and falsehoods to derail our best chance in years to fix a broken system.
The President is entitled to choose his team. However, the U.S. Attorney General, more than any other cabinet official, must be the people's lawyer, an advocate for the rule of law above all else. The more than 23,000 calls and emails my office received against Senator Sessions' nomination further made clear to me that he did not earn the confidence of many Coloradans who may soon rely on him to protect their rights and identify abuses of Constitutional power.
Now more than ever, we need to build a politics based on inclusion, empathy, and understanding. We must not normalize divisive rhetoric or hateful action. My office will continue to stand up for Americans of every race, religion, and sexual orientation. It is my hope that U.S. Attorney General Sessions will work to defend the rights of all Americans.
You can watch here (https://youtu.be/B4gndujlk7U) my recent floor speech against the confirmation of Senator Sessions.

I value the input of fellow Coloradans in considering the wide variety of important issues and legislative initiatives that come before the Senate. I hope you will continue to inform me of your thoughts and concerns.

Sincerely,

That letter, after the confirmation, is petty.

I'm shocked. Shocked, I tell you. [Sarcasm2]

I don't know how to feel. After all the emails, letters, and faxes I sent his office he didn't send me an email. Does that mean I'm doing something right or wrong?

An AG that follows the law? That would be refreshing.

Maybe it's time to write Bennet an email reminding him he's no longer relevant in DC exactly because of his, and his party's, views on how to govern. He's a bigger ass than he was before and I didn't think that was possible.

I could get behind that.
