Doing a buget bolt gun build for the old man. I think I have narrow I't down to one of these two scopes. Scope will be going on a Savage 308 or a ruger 6.5 Scope will be used for target practice and range toy, not a competition gun. Experience with ether one would be awsome.

I purchased 4 of them (primary arms 4x14) the last 17 months. No problems at all. A nice scope for the money. If you get up north your welcome to stop by and see for yourself.

I have a Primary Arms 4x14 with the ACSS HUD recital I was getting ready to put up for sale if you are interested? I only got to the range with it once (sold the rifle it was on) but it seems like a nice optic for the price.

SWFA 3-15 would be a good option. I have the 10x model and have no complaints for a budget scope. TimK also sells a zero-stop kit for it!

A little update. I picked up a Primary arms 4-14x44 ffp mildot and a bushnell elite 10x Milldot scope. Both have been mounted on rifles but have not shot them. Will update again once i have got to try them out at the range. Thanks for all the input
