For discussion about candidates on the NRA board of directors ballot that is starting ot arrive.

Note that you do not have to cast a full 25 votes, and if you don't, it amounts to a stronger vote for the candidates you do vote for.

So far I'm going for Steve Schreiner, who I've known for a long time and just recently spoke to the Pikes Peak Firearms Coalition (ppfc.org (http://ppfc.wildapricot.org/)).

Adam Kraut (http://www.adamkraut.com/) (http://www.adamkraut.com/) looks interesting, plus we do need some younger blood on the board for continuity.

I'm really considering Adam Kraut, he does a weekly YouTube series on the legal issues facing the gun community. He's well spoken, educated and does a great job on his legal videos.

I go to his videos when I have question about an issue, including the latest on the leaked ATF whitepaper:

What are you guys thinking on the bylaw changes?

The first page of it looks good to me, stronger language on 2A but then I'm reading stuff about making it harder for members to nominate to the board. I think it's kind of hard to ask the membership to organize in such a way to get 0.5% of the votes cast to nominate. Isn't that why we organize under the NRA in the first place?

ETA: So far I got...

Stephen D Stamboulieh
Adam Kraut
Linda Walker http://www.ammoland.com/2017/01/vote-linda-walker-re-election-2017-nra-board-directors/#axzz4Z3o2PmHg

I guess the fewer names you mark, the more weight they are given on your ballot.

So any more must have votes for this year?

nolo (stamboulieh) and supermoose (kraut) were the only two I voted for this year. Only time I ever bothered to vote I guess too.
