Weather has more shooting friendly than usual last several weeks.
Lots of folks buying/selling guns, ammo and gear getting ready.
What are ya looking forward to this year?

Forgot to list mine.

Prior to this year I had shot one rimfire Steel Challenge match (back when Ruger sponsored it--2013?)
Decided to try it--so far i've shot one USPSA match (Ben Lomond), one IDPA match (Cheyenne), one 3-gun (Noco), and one defensive pistol (NCRGC), and have enjoyed them all. Tomorrow I'm going to the Cheyenne Defensive Pistol, and Sunday the USPSA in Pueblo. My goal at the start was to not finish last. At the HPPS (Lomond) briefing, my goal was downgraded to "don't get DQ'd"--I've not finished last in any of my matches yet. Next to last. But not last--I may have beaten an 11 year old and a beginning woman, but hey, I wasn't last!
I hope to try the USPSA at CRC, and Pueblo and CRC Tactical Rifle. I really enjoyed the 3-gun, but that's a steep curve for a beginner who is admittedly not a great shot. I hope to try the SoCo 3 gun, CRC 3 gun, and the Lomond 3 gun, but I don't have the equipment to be in any way competitive in that yet (I'm not trying to blame equipment, but I don't have any sort of shotgun shell carrier yet, and it seems that that's pretty dang necessary. Loading out of a dump bag may cut it at the NoCo match (well, not really, but they're tolerant), but I don't think so at those larger matches.
Back in December, on a lark, i tried to register (and was accepted) for the Resurgence 3 gun in New Mexico in September. So, I better get cracking on becoming a 3 gun competitor.
So far, i've asked people at the matches if they're on Co AR-15, and nobody has been--I know Cha-Lee obviously is, but he's busy doing all the match director stuff during that match. I've met Hoser and MarkCO before. It'd be great to know CO AR15 folks at matches.
I'm hoping I actually have time to shoot a match this year. It's already so busy this Spring.
I want to take a quality pistol class. I'd like to get in on some steel challenges with RW Swainson too. But overall, get in better shape and push my failure point.
I got all excited to pick it back up until I realized the matches at Bristlecone are on Wednesday nights, right in the middle of one of my classes. I work weekends, so unless anyone knows of any matches during the day on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, I won't be able to start competing again until May.

There are some Sunday night matches at Centennial. Would that work at all? IDPA and USPSA.
I tried an IDPA match and rifle match at CRC last year and really enjoyed them. Unfortunately, I ran into some health problems and never got back out. Now that I'm back on the mend, I'm hoping to continue those this year. I might even try some type of precision match, even though that's may out of my comfort zone.

We have the "Kool kids" squad for the IDPA matches at CRC, usually made up of COAR members and new shooters and a couple regulars.
As a general rule at matches the advanced competitors and instructors just kind of naturally help out and coach most everyone.

I encourage everyone to consider taking the time and effort to learn, train and become RO'S for your favorite discipline.

Just completed an NRA Shotgun Instructors course today. It is for my Boy Scout troop to help with shooting sports this spring and summer.

Assuming all the details come together for this new job, I'll actually have time for matches again.
Assuming that all comes together, I'd be looking forward to IDPA, 3-Gun, Rimfire, and Precision Rifle!

Maybe, depends on when they're done. I work mornings and centennial is a bit of a drive.
