A friend and I are looking for a spot to hunt turkeys this spring for the first time.
Does anyone have any private land that they would let us hunt them on? Archery or shotgun, land owners preference. We would be willing to pay a fee to hunt if need be.

Semi interested too take mee! (Bait you with a saltwater water setup you know you miss it)
For some reason Turkey hunting I think always intrigued me more than others. Maybe I feel sorry for the tasty elk. But with the turkeys..... oh I want to shotgun their heads off oh so terribly. It's like some people hate/fear geese for no reason. (I do like Turkeys acting crazy for no reason or the funny things they do in mating season attacking shot/downed males)

Im always up for going, but need to find a place. Im scouting some public land, but no telling how crowded it will be. Id like to get one with my bow.

The only place I have ever seen turkeys is down by Bishops Castle on highway 67. Lots of national forest land there.

When they first starting developing the hill on 86 just east of Castle Rock, there were a lot of turkeys during the morning commute.
They all ended up committing suicide jumping in front of cars.
Must have been the depression of watching the new construction.

The foothills outside of Castle Rock. Dakin Road...Jackson Creek. I've seen turkey in West Creek also.
There's always Bailey's backyard. [Coffee]
