Tanto, partial serrated, Aprox 4" handle length, reversable stud and clip for ambidextrous use, clip on the end of the handle not at the hinge, stainless, lock blade, Reasonable price and quality.

Coating color grips maker spring assist locker type are negotiable

I had been carrying a Kershaw for 15 years but it walked off. I've got a sog salute now and it leaves a lot to be desired.

I think the Benchmade Griptilian should fit your requirements. I've had the all black version with partial serrations since Christmas and love it! Thinking of upgrading the "scales" to some billet slim line ones, but otherwise I love it.

I have a griptillian and really like it. Mine isn't a tanto or serrated though.

Sounds like a simple solution thanks.

I normally stay away from Benchmade due to price

Are those the scales that came on it? The texture looks different than mine.

You have more choices now too...

While often not any faster to deploy, don't overlook your auto-knife options post August 9.

Hopefully someone starts a thread about this!

I doubt you'll find me carrying an auto
The problem is I bump against things and activate them

I've always liked the look of those.

Been running this over a year now. Great blade, light weight, and fairly deep pocket carry. I think it's a great edc blade.

Yeah. That's how it came out of the box. Oh, and I think mine is actually the mini griptillian. Maybe that's the difference.

May as well add a cheesy EDC pic to the thread:

The Spyderco Native is an excellent EDC choice, mine goes everywhere with me and gets used hard. I prefer the plain edge to serrated.

Tanto cuts work great as an impromptu scraper. Hard to get the curved drop point to work. Half serrated cuts straps and wire better. Also an impromptu wire stripping notch and saw if I need to notch something

Cheap alternative to a ZT knife. It's my EDC knife for about 2 years now.
