One of the things I've been playing with over the winter was my 10/22.
I bought a inletted unshaped stock from Valquartsen a few years back, shaped it and it's very pretty, but too short.
(I have to say I talked the VP at Valquartson, ordered this unfinished stock, he was the nicest guy, helped me out with a non-standard order and I couldn't be happier.)
I saw these SPS stock extensions for shotguns and thought that would be a great way to add some length and still have it look good.
Took some filing, I didn't get my belt/disk sander until after this was done. Still it came out fine. Pretty easy to do, just took awhile doing it with files.
Thought I'd post this up as a good alternative if your 10/22 stock is just a little too short.
