I was able to find out the lousy Jack-in-the-Box restaurant that closed down in the Highlands Ranch Town Center area is going to be a Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers restaurant. I'm not familiar with them. I find it interesting that they focus on a limited menu and are about a block away from Chick-fil-A. Has anyone had any experience with Raising Cane's?

I'm excited for something different!

Any idea on what's going in where the Denny's turned Cuban restaurant was?

I found it funny that the residents didn't want a Denny's, but they put one in anyway. Like most places in HR, people will give them a chance. We tried the Denny's and the food and service was terrible. Never did try the Cuban restaurant. I didn't realize we had such a large market for Cuban food...or maybe we never did. They didn't live long, so it appears they didn't understand what it takes to open a restaurant. Last time I went by about a week ago, the contents of the Cuban joint were still in place. Maybe they're going through some legal issues or something?

I have no idea I pass it almost everyday and it doesn't look like they have done anything to it all. I honestly didn't even realize Jack-in-the-Box was gone until I was leaving Carlos Miguel's a couple days ago and looked over and it was all torn apart

Canes is pretty good if you like chiken fingers. There is a big difference between canes and chick fil a, they should do fine.

Ya, there's one in fort collins. Only had it once at a house party but was pretty damn good. IIRC at least with a big order, you basically get a big silver foil oven pan full of chicken fingers.

Too bad I over did it that night and put it all back in the sink.

Had Canes a bunch of times, down in Louisiana and up in Minnesota. It's good stuff.

My family calls it "crack chicken" obviously we like it.

The lemonade is really good too.

Had it once Houston. It was okay. Nothing so special I would go out of my way to have it again.

I tried the Cane's for the first time in Cincinnati suburbs, and I had those for dinner 2 night in a row. I think Ft.Collins is only place available in CO at this time. Looking forward to eating out at Cane's.

Guys on another site rave about it. Guess I'll have to see what the hype is all about.

Of course, they also rave about In-N-Out and Five Guys . . . and I didn't think either of those were anything special when I have gone.

A little better than Skyline Chili? Never heard of Cane's.

Their chicken fingers are pretty tasty. What makes them great is the dipping sauce in my opinion. Kind of like Good Times and the wild sauce. Except you know, the food doesn't suck without the sauce.

The sauce is for sure the key. Get a box combo & sub the crappy slaw for a 2nd sauce. Use for chicken & fries. Apply Cholula to the fingers. The Arnold Palmers are very good too. Sign up for their email club because they regularly do BOGO box combo deals throughout the year. When the one in Fort Collins first opened I think I went 5 times the first week. I've slowed down to monthly or so but it's still tasty. Just doesn't always fit my macros these days.

i enjoy it, Cane's is easily a step above of the big fast food chicken joints.

I'll have to try it. But I've never had better chicken fingers than at Bush's Chicken in TX.

I guess they don't want you to know the price of the meals? [fail]
