Factory Glock mag won't drop free

I've got a factory Glock 23 mag that won't drop free. Nothing is jumping out at me as to why, i.e. it doesn't appear to be damaged or anything. All my other mags drop free just fine. Is there anything that I can do to remedy this?

Metal liner or non lined? Loaded or empty? Early mags were designed to not drop free when loaded.

Metal lined, doesn't drop free full or empty. Will look into Armorall, that's not a bad idea. Will the kerosene wear the plastic prematurely?

Any other mags having the same issue is this a new gun or mag? What is the Relitve humidity of your home right now

No other mags are having this issue. Just checked again to verify, as I had isolated the wrong mag. There are some small cosmetic differences between this mag and the others. Basically, the mold injection marks are on the opposite sides. I've no idea what the ambient humidity is in my house now, but I noticed this at the range yesterday, so I doubt it matters.

I don't know. My post was somewhat in jest although back in the very early 90's some of the guys I competed with were running Glocks and I thought they used to use Armorall or Pam cooking spray on their mags or in their grips to help the magazines pop out. This was back when Glock mags just weren't supposed to pop out when you hit the release.

Seems to me it would make them slippery to handle though.

For around $25 you can just buy a new magazine and carry on.

We used armorall, later switching to silicone spray. Put that mag aside for a range only unit, after running it along some extra fine emory paper.
