Just relaxing after being worn out by the 3 yr old grandson when I hear those magic notes. Yup, the ice cream truck is making the rounds in the neighborhood. Must resist!!

Meet me at the ice cream truck,
I'll buy you an ice cream.
High of 36 and low of 20 and snow on Tuesday. You can sit outside and make your own ice cream. [Coffee]

Some folks attempt convince their kids that the ice cream truck has a big super bad monster in it and the kids should get in the house as soon as they hear the truck's music and/or bell. Kind of a dirty trick but that's what some people use to do.

My parents told me it was "The Music Box Man". That worked...until I saw him handing out ice cream.

My mom told me it was way overpriced and we could buy 5 ice cream treats at the grocery store for the price of one from the truck. This probably explains why I'm (a) Fat; and (b) downright neurotic when it comes to spending money on things with no lasting/tangible/long-term value.
That's still what I think about when I hear an ice cream truck.
Our guy is too expensive. Told my kid the guys a crook for the money he wants.

That's why it's so difficult to buy a politician these days...

You were saying...? [Coffee]
Well today was "free cone" day at Ben and Jerry's, donations accepted to the cystic fibrosis association. Even with the crappy weather I went to the shop on Evans/University. Vanilla cookies and cream-even with the wet, cold weather it was great! And yes, that Eddie Murphy routine was the second thing I thought of after I posted this, thanks for included, truly very funny.
