FYI: Got an email from Midway USA. There was a link to the NRA membership page for special pricing on Life Memberships for $600. Haven't seen one for a while so thought I'd pass it on.

That is a pretty good deal.
With Hillary not in the White House, donations to the NRA are way down. Might be a good time to send them some cash and get a Life Membership.

I wish I had seen this earlier, bought mine at a premium. Oh well, it's all money going to the nra, so it's not a total loss...
My membership expired in 2016 so i just renewed as a life-member last Friday for $600 through the Green Mill Sportsmans club. I thought $600 was a good deal for lifetime membership as well. I don't recall previously seeing it that low before.

There were some deals for $300 lifetime memberships a couple years ago. Should have jumped on it then.

I got in on that $300 one last year, or perhaps it was 2015. NRA left up the web site with that deal for longer than they planned. Word got around and damned if they didn't honor them - at least they did mine.
Still kicking myself for not buying one for my oldest grandson. Youngest one hadn't yet been born, so...
I'm on the opposite end. I renew every 2 years or so so I can get the free gift. I know its probably more expensive but at least I'm getting something back. Lol.

Hey, brutal...check with NRA. They offer a Jr lifetime membership for a deeply discounted price. Paid $300 for my youngest when he was 16...valid for life.

I had this posted about a month and a half ago but can't find it now.
I got my daughter the $600 Life Membership through Midway. I got my son a Life membership directly through the NRA several years ago. Now I just need to hook up my son in law and grandson.
For those participating in this program from Midway, there are 3 things you need to know:
1. Be patient for your membership material from the NRA. They say it takes an AVERAGE of 8 weeks for processing.
2. If you are buying the membership for someone else, put that persons full name and address in the "Deliver To" section during checkout. (I actually had to call Midway USA to find out how to do this)
3. Put the date of birth of the person getting the membership in the Delivery Instructions. Also consider adding their phone number.
As I understand it, Larry Potterfield, the owner of Midway USA, is underwriting the difference in NRA cost and what you can get the membership for through Midway. If you feel this is a good deal, and especially if you take advantage of it, consider using Midway USA to buy things you're looking to buy. This will serve as a way of showing Larry that you appreciate what he's doing for us and gun rights.
ETA : Here's the thread I posted...it was in Buyer Intel: https://www.ar-15.co/threads/161595-Discounted-NRA-memberships-through-MidwayUSA?highlight=Midway+nra

Good for Larry P and Midway. I didn't know that. Thanks for the update, Ginsue.

Naw brother, thank you for getting this info out again.

That's when I bought my wife's membership. Never seen it lower before or since.
Larry P and Midway are huge contributors to the NRA. I wish other pro-2A businesses were as thoughtful about their customer base.

I wish it was good for upgrading my existing life membership ... great deal if you're not already Life.

Might want to check into upgrading to Patron/Endowment/Benefactor/ect.
I just got an email from NRA to upgrade my Life to Patriot/Endowment for $250 and I get a $149 rolling duffel for free. I think it may be time to move to the next level. Offer good until 4-10-17 according to Wayne.

I checked ... they want me to pay $1500 to go from Patron to Benefactor. Happy to support them but not at that rate.
They run promos regularly. They'll likely be running more soon.

Yeah...I'm a Benefactor Life Member and upgraded from Life thru each level for $150 to $250 thru their promos. Then they try to get you to become a "Golden Eagle" or some shit. But, hey...you'll get some cheesy made-in-China gift every time.

I resemble that remark. I'm a Benefactor Life Member as well and most of the levels were steeply discounted. The "gifts" are usually not worth much...and being a Benefactor Life member has all of those fabulous perks. [Sarcasm2]

That's why I look at it as "support" and "donation" ... Happy to help because they have been the most effective group at fighting the Clinton/Obama excesses but there's a lot more I want to do with $1500 ...

IMHO, money for the advancement of gun rights may better spent by donating to the NRA-ILA. Although I'm uneducated as to how money may be funneled from one to the other.

NRA-ILA definitely is on my donation list because of their advocacy. I'm just saying I wouldn't mind doing the last upgrade in my Life Membership as support of the overall organization, I'm just not spending $1500 to do so.
I'm already a life member, but reminded me of a sales flier with some stuff to buy. And an NRA round up on the bill. Win for everyone.
