That's too bad. A true icon. He made it a good long time. I bet being able to vent like that as part of your career is good for stress levels......and he could vent like no other.

Yeah, 'ol Don could really let it fly. He lived a good long time and we were blessed to have him for as long as we did. RIP Don.

While Rickles was brutal (in a humorous way) to others, this is my favorite way to think about him:

If ever there was a time we needed Don Rickels, this PC soaked SJW invested age is surely it.

Foster Brooks was pretty good there too.

An icon of my childhood and early adult years. He was a funny man.

I did have the good fortune to see Foster Brooks while stationed in Japan in 81 or 82. What a great show he put on, too.

RIP, Don. A guy that could tear up anybody with his comedy, but was a real sweetheart in life.

Not just a great comedian, but a great actor and person.

Oh man! Crapgame gone? Kelly's Heroes is my all time favorite movie. Rickles' character Crapgame took that perfect movie and made it even better. "A deal deal. Maybe they guy's a Republican."

RIP Don. You make me laugh a lot through the years.

Sadly, I think we'll soon be losing Bob Newhart, Jerry Lewis and Dick Van Dyke too.

Don Rickles and Johnny Carson were great together - just recently saw a Johnny Carson show with Joan Rivers, and Don Rickles.
Sat there thinking that Don had survived the others - wow!

In his early days doing stand up, I bet any who heckled him were sorry afterward.

RIP.
