Any one complete one of these I ordered one for my wife in robin egg blue I plan on getting a slide and polishing it to a mirror finish you know where I am going with this what should I know before I start milling the frame
I saw midway had the kits on sale for like $69 or something.
Hope yours turns out good and your wife loves it.

Might want to refrain from polishing the top of the slide.

Yes I wish they had this sale when I got mine paid 200$ for my black frame and parts kit I am waiting on the slide to start mine it's been sitting on the bench for a few months and when I seen the deal I got the idea to do one for her

Pretty sure Midway has them in stock.

Shiny mirror-like finish right in your eyes/sight-line when you are trying to defend yourself might degrade accuracy.

I've never really understood this. If you're pointing at your target and you can see the top of the slide then you're doing something wrong.

Once something bright hits the slide you'll get some glare in your eyes, from the reflection.

This is more of a range toy more than likely this will be a safe queen
