I realized recently that I'd like to start an AK collection centered around Colorado Manufactured AKs.

So far I've got a M+M and one from Arma out of Parker CO.

post any other current or former Colorado manufacturers of AK style rifles you may know of and thanks in advance

The company that became ARMA started out as LANCASTER.
They had some sort of connection to the outfit in Arizona.

Iron Hammer Armory in Byers is one that I remember.
There is another outfit that used to buy kits from us to build,,Hammerstone Armory?

I was at the damage factory in centennial and saw an ak looking thing on display, charging handle on the left side...asked about it and the store owner said there's a guy building these in northglenn. It uses an ak trigger group but has a separate upper with a pin hinge on the front lower receiver (like an AR) and a railed bolt carrier of some sort, so it's only AK like. In my opinion it's overbuilt, the receiver is too bulky and heavy. But it's good to see someone local trying to innovate.

That firearm isn't on their website and I can't seem to find anything with a quick search.

That is M+M that MrAK mentioned. That rifle is very reminiscent of a Sig 556 Xi-R
