We were planning to use a mantle but really want a wrap around now. However I don't think a store bought one will fit so I wondered if anyone had any leads on people who make them to specific measurements and can install. Thanks!

We do them in granite, quartz, marble.

Tim K probably does them in his stone shop as well.

If you have idea of what you want, snatch a couple sample pics off of net and send to me in PM.

I should specify though, we have tile around it we just want a wrap around mantle basically. Just making sure we were on the same page.

Have built mantles from many different materials and built many fireplace surrounds.

Not sure what is meant by wrap around mantle. Pics of samples you like will help.

What I mean is it goes all the way around the fireplace as opposed to what we have now which is just a mantle on top, like a shelf. I'll post a pic of our current situation.

We refer to it as a surround.

We do them in stone, usually 3cm (1 1/8") slab granite, quartz or marble typically.

Tim can do same and possibly add wood products into the options as well.

We picked up one off CL, there's a few antique places up here that have them.

Mine would almost have to be custom made due to somewhat difficult measurements to work with. Plus I would want a professional to install it due to tile already being there.

Not to step on anyone else's toes, but I would highly recommend giving Tim K a shout. He just did new cabinets/granite countertops for me and it was an excellent experience all the way around.
