So the wife and I decided that since the kiddo is old enough to start staying at home by herself it's time to startup date night.

Need a suggestion for tomorrow night since we weren't sure that she would get off work at a reasonable hour so it's a last minute thing. Just got done dieting so food isn't a priority just want something cool that we wouldn't normally do, which isn't much.

Thx

Check out the Clocktower Cabaret on the 16th st Mall. Comedy and burlesque can be raced / raunchy sometimes but the live music nights aren't too bad

How late do you want it to go? Can you provide some sort of parameters as far as what you like to do, vs things you would not do?

Driving is not an issue neither is time. Would be leaving Elizabeth around 5 or so.

Up to doing about anything.

One of our favorite dates is to chase away family(kids, minions, dogs, assorted relatives) for the evening and set up dinner and movie.

Usually grill some expensive beef or fish that we don't normally buy and binge watch Netflix or relax on patio with good drinks and watch sunset.

Ain't gotta go far or spend a lot to have fun dates.

Where ever you decide to go, inquire about reservations. It's graduation weekend for some schools, eating places will be crowded.

Is that what they call it these days? [Coffee]

Back in the dating world. Dinner, drinks (UBER) and something fun usually has good results.

Too late this month but does the wifey like art? First Fridays, around Denver, are popular.

Definitely NOT this, unless you miss your kids so much you need to be surrounded by them.

My Wife's favorite night out from the kids is The Fort in Morrison. Need a reservation about a week in advance if there isn't a holiday near. We try to go there a few times a year. Fancy 3 course meal place, you can dress up if you want. I don't like dressing up so I usually just wear the nicer cowboy boots and not beat up jeans. If you go there make sure to try the Quail.

Quality time with the toilet can be just as good.

You know that things not a single shot that's slow to reload right? You gotta believe that it's a drum fed weapon of mass destruction. That's all the advice I got.

My favorite dates happen when we are just holding hands or we find time to hang out somewhere quiet and talk uninterrupted about our thoughts and make plans for the future. Sometimes trying to plan something fun just makes it too hard, but feeding me is never a bad idea either. LOL.

Agreed.

I'm no Spring chicken but when I was I was always looking for the hot date that would result in some romantic activity. These days, that's not my driving consideration. My wife and I like to take day trips (sometimes weekend trips) out and about throughout CO. We check out towns and areas we've either never been to as a couple or that we want to revisit. During these trips we hold hands in the car or while out walking and get plenty of time to talk with each other, all while gaining new experiences together. We ride in the car with music on low to encourage talking or quiet introspection. We've found that these trips have brought us closer together.

Going out to dinner or going to the movies is good too, but it doesn't enable us to really get to communicate with each other as thes day trips allow.

When the wife and I feel the need to spice things up we usually just invite a third party to join us in the bedroom.

Well what else would you use to entice a third party to join in on some sexual escapades?

I think the only thing that would work for me would be CASH and a sincere promise to watch from very far away.

My wife and I are married. We don't date. We spend time together and I try to be quiet and give her space when it seems like she needs it. When I need space, I just go away or down to the basement. Together or apart, we are still together. We talk. We plan. We go places. We wake up next to each other. I want this to last as long as I am alive.

Anytime you wake up in the exact same position you fell asleep in, that's good rest.
