Guys,
A while back there was a post recommending a company whose training was valid for CO and UT CCW. Anybody remember who that was? I'd rather get more bang for the buck and get at much reciprocity as possible.
Thanks!

Sent you a PM, Sled_Dog.
If you are a Colorado resident with a valid CCW permit, it is good in Utah as well.

Try PROFIREUSA.com
Their excellent and thorough class is also accepted for Utah CCW and CO.
I teach with them so this is a shameless plug!
But I teach with them because I was impressed with their quality of instruction. On staff are 2 of the 60+ Master Training Counselors in the US and one attorney. Many Senior TCs...
Give us a try!

HAH! Shameless! I Love it...that's the one I was looking for. Thornton is closer for me too. Thanks PPP maybe I'll see you there!
Oh one more question, how does the Utah notary and app service work?

True but if you get the Utah permit as well you pick up 4 additional states...

Work well, thanks! We provide that service also!

Some states now will not honmer a permit if you are not a resident of the issuing state. The Utah handgun law website also states this. The laws are constantly changing so it is good to keep updating.
Colorado is also one of those states that will not recognize a Utah permit if you are not a resident of Utah.

I may be looking for a job soon so i was wondering if anyone has seen how or if a CCW shows up on a standard background check.
I don't have my CCW yet but have taken the class. (worth it even it i don't decide to get the permit). If it would impact the opportunity of getting a job I can wait. I don't really plan on carrying anyway, just wanted to get the permit in case i change my mind.

Welcome to the forum! Maybe go to the New Members forum and tell everyone a little about yourself.
You can probably find the answer to your question in this thread. It's just under this one in the Concealed Carry Forum:
