So the other week while leaving work I ran over a rock slide that had just occurred. The helpful young cop shined her flashlight into my windshield to try to warn me about the slide, but oddly enough in the rain and dark all this did was make it so I couldn't see the rock slide...
this is caused my turbo, transmission, steering and suspension to be messed up / acting wonky, and the engine has started leaking and smoking as well...
the insurance adjuster came fake and checked out the car yesterday, and was stating that the turbo and part of the engine that's leaking wasn't struck by the rocks and that they would fix the exhaust and steering. :/
im wondering if anyone here has any experience fighting an appraisal or any advice for how to handle this. Still waiting on the detailed report on the inspection (which should arrive today), and if you're curious the insurance company is USAA
