I found the edge strikes the most interesting. It appears that at a certain point, enough of the bullet striking the edges caused the portion not striking the plate to also come apart enough that it was essentially not lethal.

I wish they would have shot a big fatty 230gr 45 ACP at about 700fps to film a bounce-back. Seen it in real life, and seen the bruise it leaves. Would love to see the physics of that in slo-mo.

I also liked the edge strikes. The ones at an angle where the bullet slides around was cool.

I found myself in a trance or daze with that strange sounding music coming out of the speakers along with the fascinating display of bullets striking objects over and over.

It was kind of cool!

Shotgun pellets hitting the bullet. Talk about precision timing! That video's the coolest, I could watch it all the time! I prefer the bongo drum soundtrack though over the second version.

I love that one, one of my faves! As a half-assed photographer and target shooter, I really dig it. I can only imagine the amount of time and money involved in making that, especially if it was done on film and not digital.

I saw another film by that guy once that featured lots of muzzle views and quite a few pistols/revolvers rigged to KABOOM for the camera. It was awesome! Seems to be missing now, maybe it was too controversial or something. It had revolvers blowing up like grenades, pretty amazing.....and scary.
