I'm posting this here since I know there are several people using Kellin.

If you use Kellin can you let me know if you've been having issues recently? Our's started up again probably 3 - 4 weeks ago. I use Ooma for VoIP and it has basically been unusable with people complaining about my audio breaking up.

I've been traveling quite a bit and finally had some time to test today. I'm seeing major issues with latency and jitter (jitter issue looks to be upstream which would explain the voice issues). We have two separate antennas from them and I'm getting nearly identical results when physically plugged into each router (different makes and models).

I spoke with Kellin yesterday and they upgraded the firmware on our antennas last night but it didn't help.

If you have a chance can you run a tool like this - http://www.dslreports.com/tools/puma6 (this tool doesn't actually care about the modem or router) or just ping to google DNS to see what your response times look like?

ping 8.8.8.8 -t (this will run ping until you hit control C). Here's what I'm seeing on a basic ping test. It completes over and over with many responses in the 500+ms range. I get the same thing pinging their router that I'm getting my IPs from. All neighbors using Kellin have confirmed similar behavior.

My upstream jitter is averaging near 100ms which is why no one can understand me on the phone.

I've had problems with them since I signed up.

Do you know what hardware they are using on your house?

This really sounds like what a friend was gettig with Skybeam/Rise when he was on an overpopulated tower.

I don't know what the hell your numbers mean in the 1st message. I just ran speedtest and had a 2ms ping. But my down is only 9.xx with 4.xx up. Usually gets closer to 20 when I cycle power

After the power cycle, 11ms 19 down 5 up.
