Since Tire Mountain is closed, just wondering if anyone knows of any place to get rid of a bunch of old car/truck tires that are on the rims......cheap?
Thanks

They are out of Sedalia.. you might have to have the tires dismounted from the wheels before they will take the tires. They charge a couple bucks per tire for disposal.
I'd try Craigslist first. You might not have to take them anywhere.

I have 4 that I need to get rid of also. On the rim and worn out.
I may just cut the tires off with a sawz all and pay Gilpin County the fee at the solid waste facility. $5 each I think. The rims just go into the metal recycling bin.
I have Front range come get motorcycle tires about once a month. We can also do car tires, and can dismount them (truck tires up to 32 inches tall). They charge me $2 each for car tires, $1.50 per motorcycle tire. You guys are welcome to bring them to the shop for recycling(Golden).

Sweet, thanks man! I'll probably PM you next week some time.
Big O Tires did take old tires for free. It's been a year or so since I tried, give them a call.
