Hello everyone!

I finally took the jump and built my first AR-15 with some friends and wanted to reach out and learn more instead of just pestering them with questions! Look forward to learning a bunch more and engaging with the community.

Cheers!

Welcome.

FAIR WARNING: You've just taken your first step towards a major addiction. AR's (especially building them) are very addicting.

No kidding. Found a barrel sitting around, started a new build and promptly decided I wasnt using that barrel. I will likely find that barrel again someday and do the same thing again.

Welcome! I will vouch for it being addicting. I'm cheating on my wife with my AR.....

Just remember, food for and a roof over the baby’s head come first, not a new Lower for your latest build.

If you can find a house to live in and a month supply of food that is cheaper than a lower receiver let me know, LOL. To the OP, welcome to the gun club!

Welcome. I'll tell you what was told to me when I got my first.

That's your first, it will certainly not be your last. Enjoy!

It is always tempting to throw caution to the wind and build one or two or three at a time. The wife understands but puts the brakes on pretty quick if I am walking a little to close to the edge of that slippery slope!
