One could ask a lot of things about the wrecks and challenges system we have in place. Like, for example, since when does SCOTUS re-write the .gov's argument in order to make an unconstitutional "law" (Obamacare), constitutional? Well, "Justice" Roberts did just that. The judiciary in Florida has long been a tool of the Democrats. Remember, it was the Florida Supreme Court that tried to hand the 2000 election to Gore, not the US Supreme Court handing it to Bush. The Florida Supreme Court ignored and violated the written statutes to try to help Gore create non-existent votes (as well as throw out legitimate absentee votes from military members who presumably were not voting for Gore). I was there; I happened to PCS into Florida just in time to register to vote there (as opposed to in Colorado) so am probably one of the 500 that carried the day for Bush. Jeb Bush was actually a decent governor but the courts there ... meh.

Its not just FLA its the entire system. We are no longer a constitutional republic, we're a Judicial Oligarchy and an Administrative State.

The article says it right there: "As a matter of constitutional separation of powers, that procedure cannot be legislatively modified," Hirsch wrote in a 14-page order.

The "law" wasn't changed. A legal procedural rule was changed. Courts write the Court Rules there, as they do in Colorado.
