So CNN went and found the guy that created (or at least first posted) the little .gif of Trump beating up the CNN logo and basically threatened to dox him (and thus ruin his life if not get him killed) if he didn't apologize and stop exercising his free speech rights.

Well for those of y'all that don't understand how this works, what CNN basically did is threaten the entire internet of shitposters, trolls and what not and these are the same people that identified the bike-lock assaulting college professor and found Shia LaBeof's stupid little flags based on the position of contrails in the video feed ... twice.
I'm getting my popcorn ready because this is going to be fun to watch them re-enact the death of Gawker.

The creator crawled into a hole and apologized for his racist jew shit along the way.
Let us all hope he stays in his hole if he doesn't have the fortitude to stand behind what he puts out there.

This reddit user was not newsworthy. What was newsworthy was Trump redistributed his animated gif (oh, by the way, its starting to look like CNN discovered the wrong guy on Reddit - how does that make your snark look?). That this Reddit user created it was never "news" but CNN has been driven so utterly insanely unprofessional by their Trump hatred that they thought it was a bright idea to go hunt him down.
This was the same vicious fake journalism that caused the media to hound "Joe the Plumber" for daring to ask a sharp question of Obama.
Its not the first time Kacsynski has led an internet mob after some nobody.

The thing I've noticed about Piers Morgan in the last few years is that he's right about 20% of the time (and not just right but "goddamn right"), but that 80% of the time he's wrong he's monumentally and idiotically wrong. I'm still glad Jeremy Clarkson decked him because he's still clearly a dick.
Aside from the real shit-storm headed CNN's way, the wave of CNN vs Trump memes this has triggered has been fun.

Yeah, he seems to have moderated (ever so slightly) some of his off-the-charts leftist bullshit. But the last couple of times I've paid attention to him he made some sense. You're right, though...he's still a dick. And anytime someone wants to offer him a knuckle sandwich I'm OK with that. Hell...I'd do it if I had the opportunity.
Unfortunately i am stuck listening to CNN for my entire shift at work every day, every week. Working in a .gov office with liberals in the head shed and that's what I get, I swear I can literally feel my brain melting some days listening to the utter tripe that is CNN. The public complains, the workers complain. Nothing changes.

I used to work in an office that had Fox on 24x7 for "situational awareness". They made and supported a product that was used by first responders, so the idea was allegedly to know when the S was going to hit the F so we could all man the phones. Now I grant you that Fox is a lot better than CNN, but it was still super annoying to have that on all...day...long, every day.

If you look at the employees handbook. There will be NO political discussions or other items that create a hostile workplace. My supervisor said something about the Daily Kos with a link in an email to the employees. I replied with This is considered political orientated material not appropriate for the workplace.
Along with a McCain-Palin picture. That was the end of any political related emails.
It's ok when a left of center person does it. BUT you turn Limbaugh or other right of center radio station and see what happens.

So if you want to, you can make that stop. If it really is a .gov location/installation if they have a complaint they have to show an alternate channel or give equal time to the other channel. In some of the places I go they have Fox on one wall and CNN on another; in other places they have FOX for 12 hours a day and CNN for 12 hours a day.
Its at the Directors discretion is what Ive been told.

Good point and it is a bit frightening.
However, I've always been a firm believer in that 'walk softly and carry a big stick' /thang. There are too many cockroaches out there putting things out in the world just to stir other people up. I'm okay with such an approach so long as they have a little skin in the game.
The anonymity of the internet is being abused by people that want nothing other than to sow dissent in the lives of others so that they can feel empowered by emotionally affecting someone else... And if that is your lot in life, cool. Just own up to the words and ideas you have put out into the world when there is recourse.
I'm all for Trump using the stupid clip. I'm all for the cages of major media outlets being rattled after years and years of them believing that they're steering politics and beliefs... all while claiming to be 'journalists'.
I am not for people that hide when they do something that they're suddenly asked to be accountable for. Just my opinion.
