I need some frame cracks fixed on my 5th wheel pin box area. It's been fixed once before about 5-6 years ago. I double pulled a boat for the last 3 years now so I'm sure that puts extra stress on the front end.

I haven't discovered anything significant to require box frame material replacement or more fish-plating needed, etc. but I haven't pulled the nose cap yet either. From the inside, the front beam looks bent up in the middle section. I have everything else pulled (under belly covers, trim, interior cabinets, bed, etc.) and ready to go at it.

Had a friend lined up (offered to pay) but he's kinda busy and self-employed so I'm exploring options. His prior work (MIG) was superb and holding. These are new cracks around some old welds (not his), and a few cracks in some previous fishplate installed at the last repair (might have been weak/brittle steel) as welds are still solid.

I'll have everything else (front cap) pulled apart and ready to go when scheduled. Otherwise I have to pull it to his shop and pull the cap there.

Need to have completed most any day July 10-18 if possible.

Call Nik with N&D (guy who fixed your truck). He should be able to get you taken care of, if not he will know who can.

Nik did an awesome job on my truck, and saved me some coin in the process, for which I'm very grateful, but he's so overbooked...

I spoke with Lars, and have him on deck as a backup if my friend can't find the time next week or so.
