View Full Version : Tig welders best pricing on argon
Picked up a tig welder and am now shopping around for a 80- 125 cf bottle and refills
buckeye and Matheson are the cheapest I have found. Anyone have any other recommendations?

Buckeye is where I do business.
The bigger the bottle, the better your $$ per CF
I go to buckeye also. My 60 cf is about 35$ to refill. Not much lower than a 125cf. However it's much more portable being aluminum.
We always used Airgas but I have no idea how competitive their prices are as we used a corporate account.
I use General Air for nitrogen and MIG gas, but I've never really looked at any other options...
Have you tried Gases and Arc Supply? http://www.gasesandarc.com/

I did and they where double the price of buckeye and matheson
Ouch. I guess I haven't been there in about 8 or 9 years since I've been able to get tanks swapped through my work account.

We use AirGas at work (not by choice) but Buckeye is bar the best provider out there in the welding business.
