This is starting to happen often. I hope the police catch the scumbags.
Saw this one before I left for work this morning. Things are getting out of control. I miss the days when we only worried about the government taking our guns.
I wish one of the gun shops had a system in place that would drop a cage over these clowns so they would still be there when the police arrived. Plus it would made for good video to watch them try to get out once they realized they were trapped. Also, if there was nothing to hide behind and they started shooting at the police, it would be like shooting fish in a barrel. More good video.
I, for one, am happy to see our common sense gun control measures keeping guns out of the hands of criminals here in Colorado.

SHHHH.. stop introducing facts into the gun control debate.

Facts shmacts. I feel Colorado is safer despite an abundance of opposing evidence. That's the only thing of any importance and if you fail to agree with me for any reason, then you're literally hitler.

Cage, anvil, jersey barrier...whatever...
Be safe out there, these POS are now rolling around with rifles in the car.
Criminals out here? Mebbe...but I think they are going to Mexico...

I think they are going to Mexico...
This thought has crossed my mind, or ANTIFA.
I absolutely fail to understand why all the gun shops across the metro area haven't wised up and realized this is not something that is going to stop and they need to secure the guns inside a big ass safe at closing time. At this point I'm thinking they are all either stupid, lazy or both.

Agreed. What is that, close to a dozen in the last six months or so?

I would never wish to take the responsibility of these crimes away from the dirtbags committing them, but if smash and grabs begin to sky rocket, and you do NOTHING to deter it at your store, YOU are negligent, and perhaps not responsible enough to be in the gun business. Personally, I like Damage Factories setup....

One day, they are going to run into Wyatt Earp. And it's going to make the O.K. Corral look like the Howdy Doody show.

If insurance pays for losses and the current slowdown in the gun marketplace, why worry?

That's "Super Genius" to you, bub. ;)

I sure hope they got the "universal background check" performed for the transfer of those firearms. It'd be illegal if they didn't.

Well, at least the thieves won't be able to use high capacity clips thanks to Governor Bloomberg licker.

Well your insurance premiums skyrocket. So that's a reason to worry.
When I worked at an FFL right out of college, we locked every single gun up in a safe each night. That should be done at every gun store unless they have super think impact glass display cases.

Ah yes. The great Shovernor Dickinpooper shall save us all!

^^^^This.
Also, I worry because these gun stores who are failing to adequately store their firearms after closing are allowing these criminals to smash and grab these guns, now arming these criminals with some serious kit. I don't know about everyone else here, but I like to have the "unfair advantage" in a 2-way bullet slinging contest as much as possible.

At this point in time, I think the feds need to lease a place with big glass windows, post some signs about a gun store opening soon, fill some guns in the racks, and set up armed agents in a back room inside on rotation at night. I bet it would take less than two weeks.
Don't forget to leave a Jeep unlocked in the parking lot

there is no other explanation than this.
Perhaps the folks at this War Horse place thought they were immune since they were on the second floor.

The Feds prefer to work the other side of the counter.

Wasn't "War Horse" formally "Gran Prix Guns" ?
Isn't that the troof. Either that or they prefer to raid the stores and sell to black market themselves. Still you think they would be more pissed off that someone is trying to compete with 'em.
If they actually cared about public safety or keeping guns off the street, they would do exactly as you suggested. The fact that they haven't done this, informs us of their values/goals.
