Ugh. Racism. :-( Do wish our country would quit it already. Canceled all business relationships like prime, etc. with amazon today. I don't want my dollars going towards racism.

If i cancelled everything i was opposed to politically. From music, food vendors, food suppliers, vehicle manufacturers, Banks, c/card companies etc. I'd be in the morgue.
Which in the last great act of irony the medical table, sheet, and cheicals needed to preserve me were all made by someone whose political beliefs ran counter to mine.

The thing that is so stupid about the libtard backlash against "Confederate" is that its clearly going to be a Roots-style "bash whitey" fest designed to make southern whites (and by extension all whites) irredeemably racist and evil and all blacks into saintly martyrs.

Black liberals are complaining about anti-white/pro-black propaganda here. Makes less sense than BLM trying to reinstate segregation on college campuses.

The problem for them is people like me & you, don't have white guilt.

i think the problem is that racism is profitable. It was profitable 50 years ago and it's just as profitable now. The only difference is who is cultivating and farming whose racism now...

I almost married a woman from Africa in my younger days. It was her attitude towards what was happening in the US that straightened me out. She was doctors and lawyers smart, pretty as could be, and as black as a cast iron frying pan. Because she didn't grow up here she clearly saw how much bullshit it all was.

Hell, she asked what my mother and fathers family were doing when slavery was a thing in the US and my answer was my moms side was trying to run fast enough from the European settlers to be alive in the morning and my dads side was commenting on how cold the Transylvanian mountains were.

I do think that people should feel guilty about slavery in the US. If you bought a Chinese slave at the docks in LA in 1991 and then raped her to death in 1993 you should feel like a complete asshole. Other than that it's time to move on.

We don't need a tv show to demonstrate some alternative history hypothetical. We can simply look to Liberia to see what would have happened. Liberia sucks.

Truth is I have zero interest in either show because ... well frankly I couldn't give two shits about black people and their problems (8 years of Obama's race baiting BS ate up any concern or sympathy I had left for "you people") ... but the truth is, both shows have the potential to be interesting examinations of "what if..." and that's ultimately what fiction is for (Of course both will be totally Social Justice Converged and end up being nothing but leftist, anti-white and anti-American propaganda and thus blow a chance to have a real interesting discussion and just feed racial animus in our culture).

The people getting bent out of shape at the mere existence of the shows on both sides illustrates how irretrievably fractured our society has become, and like I said before the criticism of "Confederate" from the left is just hilariously stupid (God I love watching them eat their own).

$10 says the "Black America" show devolves into insane "Afrocentrism" with talk of the mystical properties of melanin and the calcification of white people's pineal glands and shit.

Where was the outrage from the Great Apes in 1968?
