What sales sites do people use other than Craigslist? If any?

Depends what you're trying to sell.

Depends what you're trying to sell.

Or what you're looking to buy.

Well I'm not looking for the dark web, prostitutes, drugs (buying or selling) or a hitman....just a plain ole garage sale style site similar to cragislist...if they exist.

Offer up and Let go are two popular ones that are both user friendly and reach a large populace, that being said, there are just as many flakes as Craigslist. Facebook has a marketplace now that is decent if you use FB.

Gonna have to stay away from Facebook. I haven't been on FB in more than a year and have never been happier about it

Thanks, I'll check out those two sites

Actually had a little garage sale today with my neighbor. His wife spent more money than they made buying stuff from me.

Try Nextdoor. I have no experience with it myself.

I used Nextdoor a little bit but it appears it's more of a place for people to complain about their neighbors and neighborhood.

I second Nextdoor, although it may just depend on your neighborhood. Our Nextdoor is a great place to sell stuff; people are all excited to get the jump on garage sales by putting dibs on pieces before the sale even begins.

Do you have a local friend on Facebook? Many neighborhoods and cities have Facebook set up for the sale of merchandise, alerts for missing children/pets, and areas for local Law Enforcement to post information pertinent to the area. Maybe your local friend could post your items for you?
