Just wanted to cut this shit off at the pass. Who gives a shit? That other asshole (what's his name? Klaperstink or something?) got so many people riled up. Ignore the assholes, don't pay attention to them, and magically, they won't have an effect on anything. Especially you.

Kaepernick appears to be having a hard time getting a job these days. Fuck him. Of course, it has nothing to do with the fact that he has mediocre talents as a QB...it's all about racism.

NFL TV ratings are way down (therefore, so is revenue) and it's because people are disgusted with douchebags like Kaepernick and Lynch. But it's racism.

Could it be that the (sort of) free market is working? Amazing! I've been told this is a myth by liberal morons. [facepalm]

I don't get this either. Why not use your money and fame to get cameras in front of you to make statements. Maybe have some videos produced and put on the internet. Groveling on your knees during our national anthem does what? Be a man and stand on your God damn feet. If you want to make changes or have influence you can because this is the best country on the planet. Be proud of that...you can.....you are allowed.

Sometimes I'm glad I don't have sports channels on my TV.

Not a sports fan in any way shape or form. I believe he has the right to not stand but I do not support his decision or motives. What is he doing to help his community beside grandstanding?

I believe the NFL ratings dropped because people turn on football to get away from politics. When these dirt bags try to insert politics into football and the media can’t take the camera off the a-holes doing it, was bound to happen. If I was the NFL's owner's group I would inform the network airing the game if you want to focus your cameras on the idiots we’ll pull your contract and shop for a network that won’t. I don’t care to see this crap rubbed in my face before each game. I know the networks can be trained because they don’t show the fights between players or the idiots running on the field.

The other day I was listening to Randy on 710 and he was talking about the imbecile known as brandon marshall of the Broncos, brandon might be a terrific and entertaining football player but he is dumber than a bag of shit when it comes to his antics and the negative impact they made on NFL viewership.

I think I watched 1 quarter of NFL last year, I'm going to see if I can reduce my time spent on the NFL to this single post this year.

None of these idiots knows nor cares about who butters their bread, they are an insult to the hard-working fans, their teams, and the NFL.

Too bad the entire league can't go 0-16 for the season.

Sure is a good thing that Lynch lives in a free and protected society that he can take time off from having to fight for his own freedom and survival to "protest" the situation.

Too many idiots in all the professional sports. I don't care for any of the big 3 any more and I sure as hell won't spend my money to watch them. Many of the players are as bad as Hollywood's "elite". I can do without them, too.

Sometimes when my knees bother me, I like to sit down...but never during the National Anthem. I figure the only statements I'm making when I sit down are: it is time to eat, time to drive, or I'm getting old.

Last football player I listened to was Artie Donovan.

Perhaps he could call Leon Kelly if his car or house gets broken in to instead of the local LE.. oh wait that's not who would show up is it [facepalm]

I stopped watching the NFL because it seems filled with nincompoops, felons, and losers these days. We used to have Mean Joe Greene, Dick Butkus, Joe Montana, Walter Payton, Gale Sayers, etc. Today we've got Colin Kaepernick and Marshawn Lynch (and used to have Aaron Hernandez and morons who threatened their own teammates). I'd rather watch rugby than the crap that passes for football in the NFL today.

The National Felons League.

So how many get off their couch and stand for the anthem? How many of those who remain firmly seated on their asses are criticizing these overpaid thugs for kneeling are whatever during the anthem? I see no difference.

So if you're in a movie theater watching a movie and it's played as part of a movie do you stand for that? If you're driving your car and hear it played on the radio do you stop and stand? I see a huge and obvious difference.

I'm not aware of any protocol or flag etiquette that recommends one stand in the privacy of their home for a televised anthem. It's purely a matter of personal choice. There is, however, protocol and proper etiquette for standing at live sporting events where the anthem is played. Obviously it's not a crime but any able-bodied person that doesn't at least stand up during the anthem is a douchebag. In the privacy of your own home? Not so much.

In my own home I do as I please but I also don't discuss that in public.

There are many of us here who recall walking across base and immediately stopping, turning toward the Post flag, and rendering honors as the flag was raised or lowered everyday. But then service to our nation is not something for everyone. We all have a right to make whatever statement we choose and others have the right to speak back to those statements. It is just another one of the rights we were endowed with by our Creator.

Be safe.

I see a HUGE difference.

The wealthy assholes who play a game for a living for our entertaiment are "protesting" and "making a statement". It's just "Look at me! Look at me!" They know millions of people are watching.

Joe Shmoe at home on his couch isn't "protesting" because nobody cares.

But let the d-bags protest.....they're the 0.5%. LOL. I can give a shit what these f-ers do.
